Who we are

WorkAI.tv is a project (dba) of IMB Wealth Technology LLC, 151 Calle San Francisco #200, San Juan, PR 00901. Our website address is https://workai.tv.

Questions about this policy or your data? Email us at [privacy(at)workai(dot)tv].

The short version

We’re a media site, not a data broker. We don’t sell your personal information. We collect the minimum we need to run the site, understand what content resonates, and stay in touch with readers who want to hear from us. You can opt out of any of it — details below.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you subscribe, fill out a form, or leave a comment, we collect what you type — typically your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers log your IP address, browser type and user agent, referring page, and the pages you view. We use this for security, spam prevention, and troubleshooting.

Analytics. We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how people find and use the site — which articles get read, how long visits last, which sources send traffic. This data is aggregated and used to make the site better. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser add-on.

Visitor identification. We may use third-party services that attempt to identify business visitors to the site — matching your visit to a company and, in some cases, to a professional contact record that includes a work email address. Where this happens, we may use that information to send you information about WorkAI.tv. This is standard practice in B2B marketing, and you can opt out at any time using the link in any email we send you, or by emailing us at [privacy(at)workai(dot)tv] and asking us not to identify or contact you. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to:

  • Remember your name, email, and website if you opt in when leaving a comment (these last one year)
  • Keep you logged in and remember your display preferences, if you have an account
  • Support analytics and the measurement described above

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Embedded content

Articles may include embedded content such as videos, images, or social posts. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited that other website directly — those sites can set their own cookies, collect data about you, and track your interaction with their content, especially if you’re logged in to them. We don’t control what they collect. Their privacy policies apply.

Comments and Gravatar

If you leave a comment, we collect the data in the comment form plus your IP address and browser user agent to help with spam detection. Comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service. An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to see whether you have a profile picture; Gravatar’s privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your comment and profile picture are public.

Who we share data with

We share data with service providers who help us run the site — hosting, email delivery, analytics, spam filtering, and the marketing tools described above. They’re permitted to use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Media uploads

If you upload images to the site, avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download images and extract that data.

How long we keep your data

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize and auto-approve follow-up comments. Account information is kept while your account is active. Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the tools we use.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Show you what personal data we hold about you
  • Correct it
  • Delete it
  • Stop sending you marketing email
  • Stop identifying you as a visitor

Email [privacy(at)workai(dot)tv] and we’ll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, and we’ll honor those. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising any of them. Some data we’re obliged to keep for legal, administrative, or security reasons.

If you have an account or have left comments, you can also request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you.

Security and children

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no website can promise perfect security. This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you.
